Doris grew up in Rockledge and moved to Churchville when she was 18. She graduated from Lower Moreland High School and went on to work at a Title company in Philadelphia. She later married Harry Walter and become a stay at home mom. When her children were in school she worked for Creger Freight Lines with her husband, Harry. Her favorite things were knitting, sewing, taking care of her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Linda Lessard (Joe) and grandchildren, Christina Marie (Lessard) McDuell and Matthew Lessard, and two great grandchildren, Evelyn McDuell and Roselyn McDuell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Joseph Walter and daughter, Donna (Walter) Sadler.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation with the family at 10:00 AM and service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the Memorial Church of the Holy Nativity, 205 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Interment will immediately follow the service at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA. 19002.
