He was a long-time resident of Bucks and Lehigh Counties and escaped the northeast winters by spending 20 years in Coconut Creek, FL recently returning to Bucks County last year. Don was born on January 2nd, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY, to parents, David Boisselle and Frances Da Silva. He graduated from William Tennent High School in Warminster, PA in 1967. Don found his love in the field of woodworking at the age of 14 and worked at Superior Woodcraft. Through his hard work he advanced to plant manager at various commercial premier furniture companies.
He served as a volunteer fireman at Haycock and Shelly Fire Companies. President of the Men’s Guild at St. Vincent Catholic Church, in Margate, Florida. He was a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Don was very active in several outdoor sports.
Don was preceded in death by his father, David, and his mother, Frances.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Carole (Laureyns) Gregory.
He is the father of three daughters Mary Laura Boisselle of Missoula, Montana, Lisa Boisselle of Quakertown, PA and Tina Eichlin (Matthew) also of Quakertown, PA and the stepfather to Deborah Gan (spouse Tom) of Doylestown PA, and Kevin Gregory of Emmaus, PA.
He is one of 8 siblings and is survived by his sisters, Frances “Bunny” Lamonte (spouse William) of Little River, South Carolina, Sarah Burlingame of West Chester, PA, Patricia Sparks (spouse Jimmy) of Warminster, PA, Nancy Good (spouse Randy) of Schwenksville, PA, Susan Meleta (spouse Stephen) of Southampton, PA, Dorothy Utech (spouse Greg) of Hayesville, North Carolina, and brother David Boisselle (spouse Beth) of Holland, PA.
He is the uncle to 15 nieces and nephews, and 5 grandchildren; Krystal, Sarah, Connor, Aaron, and Liam, and 2 great grandchildren; Brynlee and Grayson.
A public memorial visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24th at Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966 from 10am to 11am followed by a memorial service.
