Mrs. Tschohl was my first grade teacher.  If anyone asked me who my favorite teacher was throughout my life .... I would respond without hesitation; Mrs. Tschohl.  I was blessed to run into her some months ago when my Mom had to be in a nursing home for awhile.  I introduced her to my wife and children and let her know how much of an impact she had on me in my life.  I didn't realize she passed away.  My belated sympathies to the family.   God Bless. Mrs Tschohl was my first grade teacher at St. John's School in South Milwaukee and had a profound impact in my life. After having trouble with a teacher at Lakeview School, my parents enrolled me mid-year at St. John's. She welcomed me with open arms. In addition, I attended auctions at a very young age that her husband Russ ran as an auctioneer, taught guitar for 15 years, long after being introduced to instruments and music in her class, and currently teach college and run a successful auction house specializing in antiques and collectibles. I can attribute much of my interests and career choices to their influence and guidance. RIP

I want to say Thanks to my precious mom who not only gave me life, but taught me the right way to be.  She was a most loved woman who always encouraged me to get involved in music, church, school and anything else that came our way. She taught me everything she knew about antiques which led to a whole new life for me.  She picked me up when I lost my precious husband and helped me keep going in life.  I will never forget you mom.  I know you are with dad now.  I will miss you both until we are all together again.

My sympathies to the family, especially Gretchen whom I worked with at OC High School.  Mrs. Tschohl taught music to my 1st grade class at St. Johns.  I have vivid memories of her beautiful full skirts brushing past my desk, the fragrance of her cologne wafting behind her and then her lovely smile with the red lipstick. I recall thinking, "now THAT is a real LADY"! She was like So. Milw's Doris Day! She has left a great impression on many.

Gretchen and Tschol Family, I always enjoyed running into Russ and Betty at rummage sales. They were such a great couple and we learned about antiques from them. I send my sympathy and prayers. May God bless both their memories.

Our condolences to the Tschohl's. Betty was a strong personality, gifted and talented, with a warm welcoming smile. When I lived in the neighborhood, hanging out with Mark also meant Betty serving up Kroger graham crackers as snacks. And at St. John's school, she was a friendly caring alternate mom, a contrast to the disciplined nuns she taught with. Thanks Betty!

Betty will be missed by many!  I have great memories of her wonderful piano playing- entertaining us all when Craig and Peg lived in Roseville, Mn.  She had such a lively personality!!

We will sadly miss that vibrant smile and captivatiog personality. Betty has left behind a legacy of love.
