Hello Mom..its been a whole year now since you've been gone...just want to let you know..I truly miss you from the  deepest part of my soul...I love you more then words can say..what would I give to see your face and hear your voice again...to talk again or just go for a ride..and so intill we meet again...ill hold you close in my mind...Love you till the end of time!

My heart felt condolences to the Vasquez Family. You're Mom was always so warm and welcoming. I want to thank her for always telling me that her house was my house. Very nice Lady always made me feel welcomed and at home.  May she R.I.P

You were my entire universe, and without you here feels so empty, but you were my one person I can rely on when times were Grim and when times felt infinite. I remember the day you bought me my first Nintendo, because of you I fell in love with Video Games. You have taught me to be patient, you taught me to be humble. We lived together through the hottest summers to the coldest winters, playing checkers to see who washes the dishes, always talking gossip and just kicking the breeze. Never have you told me that my life choices were wrong or that I made a stupid move, instead you told me to be cautious and you will always be there when things don't work out, and you were. The smell of pallmalls will always remind me of you. There are way too many memories of you to even put here. But my favorite memory of you is drinking coffee with poppy in the morning and getting ready to go to the horse races. The cold morning's and rain will remind me of because you would always say you knew it was coming lol. Thank you for everything you have taught and showed me. Thank you for loving me the way you did. Thank you for being the best grandma a spoiled brat could have.

My grandma was caring and nice but like all people had her bad days but,she is only human but, I remember every time I would come visit she would compliment  on how pretty and kind I was so though I don't have many memories, but it will be the little ones that i will cherish and keep with me now and forever may she rest in peace and know that she will always be loved and held dear to our hearts.

My grandma you sure were a wild card, the stories I'd hear from your younger days were always so exciting. I know exactly where I got that firecracker attitude from, YOU!  You never failed to tell me how beautiful I was and it never failed to put a smile on my face. You are so loved and will be missed dearly. You're free now Grandma!

Remembering all the good moments with grandma are really ones that I won't  forget because they brought me pleasures to my nature. Sitting on the porch with her telling funny stories....I had a new one every single time. Also remembering all the walks we'd go on around the block. It was really nice...wish I could really bring those days back. Some times if the story was too good...we'd walk around just one more time because we enjoyed our time together and the story haha. My grandma hindered our relationship because she always wanted someone to really talk too. She would laugh, cry, and even be upset...but she was really hoping for someone just to hear her out and really have that little shoulder to lean onto...even though she had plenty shoulders but found mine most comfortable :) She was the one I would tell my problems to just because she knew what I was going through due to the process I would always update her nearly daily.
She really taught me a lot about giving a little and receiving a huge thanks...that always felt so good even if it was just a soda..made me want to give a little more. One more thing she taught me was patience 100%. I never knew what she was going through until one day she really let herself out and really had me open my eyes.
She wanted to be noticed...thanked...and loved..
Under any condition, grandma is strong...really strong...strong enough to make you think she was immortal.
We love you grama...and you surely won't be forgotten <3 ever....

I didn't think I'd ever see this day, one without you in this world. We'd joke how you'd outlive us all and I honestly believed it.

When I think of you I just think of a woman that lived by her own rules. One that didn't accept her fate. Come to think of it I never saw you shed a tear. You would smile so big and be happy with the simplest things; movies, sweets, scratchers, and unfiltered cigarettes. 

I may not have told you this, but your will and attitude had such an affect on me. You're the strongest woman I've ever known. You lived with health issues and it was as if they lived with you. I'm not lying when I say they don't make them like you anymore. 

I will always hold you dear to my heart.

I'm never going to forget those 6 months I lived with you in Cudahy.All the stories you use to tell me at the table and how we use to go for walks or just going to the store for your pork skins and Pepsi.Even though you cheated on Monopoly every time it was always fun and interesting...Its sad that I don't get to see you for that last time but my memories will always be forever

I am going to miss you so much, even though I wasn't raised with the family until I got  older.  When I went to California the first  time,, I was like 15 or 16 thats when I had ran away from home and Dad sent me to stay with you for awhile. LOL I remember when it was me and my friend Savita little white girl you use to call her,, and You always called us the little Devils , LOL. but yes we probaly were the little Devils and going downtown with uncle Dave and that and God only remembers the troubles we probaly got into with him,  But then I went back when I had my son Cesario to meet you all and my Dad and he was so happy .. I remeber when we all went to disney land with you all. we had so much fun. Just only how I wished I would have been raised with you all.. I know I missed out on some good times, but the times I had with you I will always cherish till the end of time, Until we meet again, I will forever Love you... TQM TIA DOROTHY,,
OH and my mom used to tell me about the wild ways you all had when you were all younger lol.

Although we weren't family by blood you always made me feel like I belonged. Thank you for being so kind to me and Jaylen. I'm glad I have memories of conversations we had under the tree on the swing. You made me laugh. We will miss you and cherish every memory always. God bless you and the family.

My Grandma was not a typical one, she didn't bake cookies, knit sweaters or socks but she did teach me not to be a quitter. She told me that the world was tough and I wasn't going to get anything handed to me. She was a definitely a wild Grandma with a soft side. She taught me how to properly apply my eyeliner, to always look and smell my best and to stop to smell the roses. Thanks Grandma for our walks around the block and for helping me become the free-spirited, strong willed woman I am today...you will truly be missed!

First of all Mona she looks so much like you in this picture.  I have very fond memories of going up there in the summer and going to knots berry farm, my mom sending me and Albert on the greyhound bus by ourselves and than the lady that kind of watched us on the bus not wanting to let us go with auntie till we insisted yes that is our aunt.  Our mom and dad never worried because they knew we were going with someone who would wAtch us as if we were her own.  We love you.

Dear Grandma,
I just wanted to thank you for being a part of my life and for sharing your crazy story’s with me. I know things were always so hard between us but we both know we had love for one another. You taught me how to be a strong independent  woman and not to let people bring me down. I want to thank you for showing me how to be a fighter. I love you.
