Robert G. Clasby Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Clasby passed away peacefully in the comfort of his family and friends on June 23, 2022 in Brewster, MA. He is survived by his son, Brian Clasby; daughter Kelley, Clasby; sister, Kathy Chisholm (Clasby) and her husband, Michael; and his former wife and best friend, Lisa Clasby. He also leaves behind his nephews Timothy and Peter Chisholm.

Bobby spent his early years skating on the ponds of Cape Cod and The Kennedy Rink arena where he played hockey beside his younger brother, Brian Clasby, for many years. After graduating from D-Y in 1972 he went to 4C's where he played hockey and met his life-long friends. From there Bobby attended the University of New Haven and graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Psychology. While waiting for his graduation ceremony Bobby read an article about a new treatment being used for stress called Biofeedback Therapy. The intrigue lead him to research graduate schools looking for one that offered a major in that area, his newfound passion took him to Long Beach State University in California. It was in California where he met his former wife Lisa and together they started their journey across the country back to Cape Cod. It was on the Cape where they married and had their first son Brian. Bobby and his family then moved to Pennsylvania where he began his practice, The Myo Group, and added to their family with their daughter Kelley. They continued to live in Pennsylvania for 20 years before Bobby made his way back to New England. Bobby continued to practice and help people until his last few weeks. Bobby loved helping others and took great pride in his work in Biofeedback therapy.

He now joins his loving family in heaven Robert Clasby Sr., Elizabeth “Betty” Clasby, and siblings Brian, Mary, & Joseph Clasby.

A memorial visitation for Robert will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Doane Beal & Ames, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, Massachusetts 02660. A memorial mass will occur Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius X Church, 98 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
