I will miss Ray's sense of humor, his art and his booming voice.  I trust he is fishing with my dad and his friend Al. Our hearts go out to his family and friends who will miss him.  May  he rest in peace.

Since I am unable to attend your Dad's services due to previous engagements, I wanted to extend my sincere sympathies and let you know what a pleasure it was meeting all of you.  I am quite sure your Dad is smiling down on each and every one of you and thanking you for taking such good care of him to the very end.

You taught me how to walk. How to hit and catch a baseball. The wonders of baiting a hook and reeling in a fish. How to carve a whale out of wood living on the ground. I learned from you that a large powerful man can be a gentle loving person. Thank you father. Thanks for being my daddy.

I will miss my cousin Ray, though in the last few years we lived quite far apart and could only communicate by phone. We shared a common interest in poetry and carving which I believe runs in the family Rest in peace Ray, you will be remembered.

Ray, you started out as a client of mine thru Elder Services of Cape Cod, and became a dear friend along the way. After we paid your bills, and called numerous companies to get late & interest charges cancelled (some as little as one dollar!), which always got a good laugh out of you, we talked about current events & sometimes politics, always sharing a Harpoon IPA at the end of our visit. You made sure there was always at least two in the fridge. I learned a lot from your knowledge of current events, and we usually ended up agreeing on most topics. 
We shared our last Harpon just a week ago, and while we just sat & didn't say much, your smile said it all to me that day. 
I will miss you my friend; you are now in a better place.
