Margaret Elaine Reynolds

Margaret “Peggy” Elaine Reynolds, 93, of Dennis, MA, formerly of Weymouth passed away on February 7, 2021. She was born August 1, 1927, in Jamaica Plain, MA to the late John and Margaret (Ferguson) Campbell.

In 1971, she moved to Cape Cod, where she raised her family, and later worked in retail. She worked at Davenport’s 5 & 10 Store in Dennisport and Marshalls in Hyannis. She was a member of the Mid Cape Chorus, enjoyed beach combing, loved animals, traveled extensively including to Scotland, and was an avid Red Sox fan. Peggy was a parishioner of the Pilgrim Congregational Church, Harwichport for over 50 years, where she was a member of the choir, and volunteered in the office for many years.

In addition to being predeceased by her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Robert Reynolds and her daughter, Jacqueline Tolman. She is survived by her son, Stephen Reynolds and wife Rosemary of Westwood, MA, and daughters, Wendy Addo and husband Lionel of North Attleboro, MA, Joyce Watson of Dennisport, MA, Nancy Reynolds of Portsmouth, NH, Amy Downey of South Yarmouth, MA and Sheryl MacDonald and husband Ken of North Port, FL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2-6 pm at Doane Beal and Ames, 729 Route 134, South Dennis, MA. Private burial will be held at Oakridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Broad Reach Hospice in North Chatham or MSPCA –Cape Cod in Centerville, MA.
