Eric Lee Peterson

Eric was born March 31, 1956 to the late David M. and Natalie (Haynes) Peterson. Eric lived in Canton, MA until he moved to Cape Cod with his family in 1966. He graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School and went onto Meat Cutting School in Maine.

Eric enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool and cribbage. He especially enjoyed Wheel of Fortune and Dancing with the Stars. Eric loved the beach and enjoyed many hours at Chapin Beach in Dennis.

In addition to his wife and parents, Eric is pre-deceased by his two brothers, David M. and Ralph H.

He is survived by his sister Diane (Peterson) James and her husband Fran of Wells, Maine, sister-in-law Shirley (Yeomans) Peterson of Hyannis, father-n-law Dr. Irving Beveridge of Carver MA, 4 nieces, 2 nephews and 10 great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10 am at the Dennis Union Church, Main St (Rte. 6A) at Old Bass River Rd. Burial will be private at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Cod VNA.
