Corinne (Nagle) Strianese, 93, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her home in Dennis surrounded by family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward S. Strianese, with whom she shared 54 loving years of marriage until his passing in 2005.
Born in Troy, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna Nagle. Corinne was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School, and then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Middlebury College. She and Edward married in 1951, and resided in Armonk, NY for over 57 years where she raised her family until she moved to Beacon, NY. Corinne spent time between her home in Beacon and her home on Cape Cod in South Dennis.
Corinne was a devout Catholic; attending church was important to her. She will always be remembered as a great mom that loved to be involved with her children's passions and interests. She formed many close relationships with her children's friends over the years, and always opened her home to them. Corinne loved to watch sports, particularly the New York Yankees, and was known to call in to various sports radio stations under an alias. She also enjoyed skiing, golf, and was a financial wiz. Above all, family was most important to Corinne, especially her two granddaughters.
She is survived and will be deeply missed by her three children, Nancy Strianese and her partner Edward Rios of Chicago, IL; Edward "Ned" Strianese of Burlington, VT; and Thomas "Tom" Strianese and his wife Elizabeth "Liz" of Wappingers Falls, NY; as well as two granddaughters, Hannah and Edith Rae Strianese.
In addition to her husband, Edward, she was predeceased by her two brothers, John "Jack" Nagle, and James "Jim" Nagle.
