Andrew Anthony LoSapio, Jr., 63, of South Dennis formerly of Stirling, NJ died at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, October 25, 2015 after a long battle with Huntington's Disease. Born in Chatham, NJ to the late Andrew Anthony and Phyllis (Melluso) LoSapio he grew up in Chatham, NJ and lived in Stirling, NJ before moving to Cape Cod - South Dennis 5 years ago.
Andrew loved baseball, he played ball in High School and joined two men’s leagues after graduation. He also had the opportunity to try out for the New York Yankees. Andrew was an avid New York Yankees and New York Jets fan. He loved music, especially Elvis, The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones.
Andrew was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul RC Church in Stirling, NJ. Prior to his illness, Andrew worked as a project planner for Roberte Flavors Inc. in Piscataway, NJ.
Andrew is predeceased by his beloved brother Anthony LoSapio (2013). He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years Jane Catherine (Alexander) LoSapio; his 3 loving sons Matthew Andrew LoSapio (and his companion Sabrina Higgins), Christopher Joseph LoSapio, Nicholas Patrick LoSapio (and his companion Dawn Mosiello); his beloved brother Steve LoSapio; his beloved mother & father-in-law Harvey & Dorothy Alexander; his dear brother-in-law’s Rev. Donald Alexander & his wife Karen, Glenn Alexander & his wife Dina; his adored sister-in-law’s Theresa LoSapio, Betsy Conroy; his cherished nephews & nieces Jeremiah Alexander, Ben Alexander, Dane Alexander, Ethan Alexander, Noah Alexander, Dillon LoSapio, Cody LoSapio, Adrienne Alexander-Seliga, Arabella Alexander and Zoe Alexander.
Friends and Relatives are invited to attend visitation Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6pm to 9pm at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home 729 Route 134 S. Dennis, MA 02660. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, October 30, 2015 at St. Pius X RC Church, 5 Barbara St. South Yarmouth, MA 02664. A committal service will immediately follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Dennis, MA.
