Victor M. Medeiros, 48, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Bedford Village Nursing Home after a long illness.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, a son of Maria (Correia) Medeiros of New Bedford and the late Antonio S. Medeiros, he was a lifelong area resident. He worked as a packer at Sid Wainer & Son.

Victor enjoyed sports especially the Boston Bruins and hockey.

In addition to his Mother, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and Victor; a granddaughter, Paisley; three sisters, Cidalia Duarte and her husband Carlos of Dartmouth, Ana M. DaPonte and her husband Steven of New Bedford, and Helena M. Medeiros of New Bedford; three brothers, Roberto C. Medeiros, Nelson Medeiros and his wife Lorrie and David Medeiros all of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
