Born in New Bedford and a life-long resident of Dartmouth, she was the daughter of the late Edmond R. and Shirley (Mead) Vital and sister of the late Deb (Vital) Lake.
Pat graduated from Dartmouth High School and was presently working as a document analyst in the healthcare industry.
Pat had a genuine passion for life and loved spending time with friends and family. She was everyone’s go-to person, emergency contact, and always there when anyone needed her, sometimes before you even knew you needed her. Pat was a passionate supporter of those she loved, expecting nothing in return, and was the best friend and best “Aunnie” anyone could ever hope for. She loved vacationing, live music, football, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her families, who adored her. She cherished long summer days in the pool and the warm sun shining on her face during long, top-down jeep rides through winding country roads, listening to her favorite songs.
She is survived by her loving niece and two nephews, Kayla Lake of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ryan Lake of Dartmouth, MA, and Nicholas Lake of New York, NY, by her beloved life partner, Susie Silva of Acushnet, MA, and her precious dog, Sophie.
In lieu of flowers, you may consider making a donation to The Humane Society & Shelter SouthCoast, 31 Ventura Drive, Dartmouth, MA 02747; www.hsssc.org in honor of Pat’s love for animals.
