She lived most of her life in Dartmouth. She loved her town and the people in it. She worked for the Town of Dartmouth for 18 years and was a dedicated volunteer for various organizations. She loved to travel and went on many cruises; she loved to go to the warmer climates as she loved the sun, sand and the ocean.
She loved her family especially her grandchildren; she was an excellent cook and shared her food and recipes with many. She was a graduate of the Dartmouth High School, class of 1965.
She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ferreira and her companion Marty Akeke of Assonet; a brother Manuel S. Garganta III and his wife Donna of NH; her granddaughters, Emma and Paige. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of the late Linda S. Garganta.
