Mary Ann Roy Gil (Reed), 59, of N. Dartmouth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024. A loving mother and grandmother, Mary Ann's greatest joy came from her family. Her children and grandchildren were the pride of her life, a testament to the beautiful family she built. She cherished spending time with them and creating lasting memories. Beyond her devotion to family, Mary Ann had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. She enjoyed shopping, jewelry, camping, traveling, cooking, and caring for her three pomeranians. She loved riding with her husband on his motorcycle, especially their trips to Newport. Always stylish and put-together, Mary Ann had a flair for fashion and was known for her impeccable sense of style. A graduate of Dartmouth High School and Bridgewater College, Mary Ann earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology and worked at Old Rochester Regional High School for several years.
She was the beloved wife of Augusto Gil, with whom she shared 10 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late John L. and Norma (Vieira) Reed. In addition to her husband Augusto, she is survived by her loving children; Nichole Sikora and her husband Aaron of Westport, Amanda Roy of Fall River, Jacob Roy and his wife MaryKate of Dartmouth, Cara Roy of Dartmouth, and Daniel Roy and his wife Kacie of Westport; 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Rd., S. Dartmouth, MA 02748 for family and friends to attend. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, 595 Old Fall River Rd., Dartmouth.
