Jean L. Revil, 67 of Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 as a result of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. She was the daughter of the late John L., Jr. and Rita (Farrell) Revil.
Born in Bridgewater, Jean was a long time resident of Dartmouth; she was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional Vocational High School, class of 1975. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College and later received her Master of Arts in Education from Bridgewater State University. She was employed as a schoolteacher at Bishop Stang High School for 33 years. She was also a coach and campus minister. Jean also taught adult formation classes at St. Joseph’s and St. Michael’s Church in Fall River. Jean also had worked many years at the Waring-Sullivan and Rock Funeral Homes.
Jean loved her family and friends dearly; she was a devout Catholic and longtime communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church. She was also a member of the Catholic REC Ministry at the Dartmouth House of Correction for more than 20 years. Jean was also a volunteer for My Brother’s Keeper in Dartmouth.
Jean is survived by her sister, Lindy Revil-Raymond and her husband Donald of South Dennis; her brothers John L. Revil III, Joseph Revil and his wife Elizabeth and Paul Revil and his wife Claire all of Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews; and many, many great friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 10:00AM in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747. Relatives and friends are invited. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth, MA 02748. Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Bridgewater.
