Isabel (Rogers) Motha, 87, of S. Dartmouth, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles B. Motha Jr., with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Santos) Rogers.
Isabel worked in Retail Sales for many years and took pride in raising her family. She enjoyed listening to country music, crocheting, Sunday car rides, especially to Newport Creamery, and reading in her truck parked at the beach. Spending time with her family was very important, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Isabel was the most caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She touched many hearts and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving children, Sandra Imbeau and her husband Thomas of N. Dartmouth, Susan Pinheiro and her husband Roy of S. Dartmouth, Ronald Motha and his wife Suzanne of S. Dartmouth, and Lori DeSouza and her husband John of S. Dartmouth; four grandchildren, Linda Hamilton and her husband Jason of Dartmouth, Timothy Imbeau and his wife Janelle of Dartmouth, Cynthia Foley and her husband Chris of FL, and Joshua Motha of Dartmouth; nine great-grandchildren, Jameson, Alexander, Tyler, Avery, Aailah, Aaidan, Ffiona, Brayden, and James; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late George, Joseph, and Thomas Rogers, Dolores Boga, Mary Fernandez, Diamatina and Celia Rogers.
