Elizabeth A. (Moore) Reinecker, age 76, of Dartmouth, MA died peacefully at home on Thursday April 15th after a courageous battle with vascular dementia. She was the wife of Richard (Rick) Reinecker whom she married on December 9, 1967. Liz was a devoted mother to her loving daughters Kris Collins and her husband Leroy of Millbury, Deidre Hart and her husband Andrew of Dartmouth, and Traci Calabrese and her husband Daniel of Dartmouth. Her greatest joy was being an exceptional Grammy, Diddy, Gabby to Payton and Darien Collins, Jackson and Sydney Hart, and Daley and Kedzie Calabrese. She also leaves a brother John Moore and wife Jane of Marblehead, MA, and several pupper dog doozlers.
Liz was born in Johnstown, PA to Ann and John Moore on September 6,1944. She graduated from Westmont Hilltop High School in 1962 where she was captain of the cheerleading squad, sang in her Presbetyrian church choir, and played the piano. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Westchester State University in 1966 with a degree in Elementary Education. Liz was a school teacher for many years before she became a full-time mother to her three beautiful children. She ended her career as a bank teller for Compass/Sovereign Bank.
Liz loved travelling both near and far with friends and family, Monday night Bingo, Tuesday night movie nights, Wednesday morning breakfast group, and Thursday evening cards where she consistently beat the pants off of her friends and took their money. She enjoyed any and all time spent with her family, in particular her Broadway subscription to PPAC with her daughters, and cheering her grandchildren on at any and all of their various activities. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Although I love flowers very much, I won’t see them when I’m gone, so in lieu of flowers: Please buy lunch for a friend.
Spend some time with a single flower, stop and enjoy that one, maybe a daisy, or a carnation, those were my favorite.
Play a board game, or play cards with family and friends (maybe win their money!)
Watch birds, especially cardinals, those will be Rick and I coming back to check on you.
In lieu of flowers…
I wish for you to flower
I wish for you to blossom, to open, to be beautiful.
Liz’s visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 4:00 to 5:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at DARTMOUTH, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA 02748. Funeral service to follow at 5:00PM. Relatives and friends are invited. To leave a note of condolence: ww.waring-sullivan.com
