Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of Suzanne (Tavares) Pacheco and Jorge Pacheco of Dartmouth.
She was educated in the Dartmouth school system and most recently was attending S.M.E.C. in Fairhaven.
Deidra had a beautiful soul and enjoyed making people happy. Being a child at heart, she made every holiday very special. She enjoyed working on her computer, listening to music, loved butterflies, rainbows, pink sunsets, her dolls Apple Dumpling, My Little Pony and the Disney princesses especially Merida. Deidra loved the color pink and would have painted the world pink if she could. Her family loved their little princess and she will be deeply missed.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her siblings, Adriana Tavares, Victoria Gonzalez, Johnathan Cinnamond and Isabella Pacheco; her grandparents, Debra and Winston DeFreitas and Gilberto and Teresa Tavares; her great grandparents, Everett and Natalie Frias and Eduarda Tavares; her godfather, Steven Frias and his wife Sandra; her godmother, Suzanne Brito; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Please wear something pink in memory of Deidra.
