Daniel “Dan” Levesque, age 57, of Dartmouth, passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 in Rhode Island Hospital caused by a motorcycle accident. He was the beloved husband of Vivian (Thompson) Levesque with whom he shared over 36 years of marriage.
Born in Fall River, a son of Laura (Roies) Levesque and the late Julien Levesque.
A graduate of Tiverton High School and a communicant of St. George Church. He was a proud business owner of his self-established company D. Levesque Builders where he prided himself on quality craftsmanship. A firm believer of “if you’re not going to do it right, don’t do it at all!”
Dan was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, a hunter who enjoyed trap shooting, fishing and watching his favorite Boston sports teams. He loved to watch his sons sporting events and the Special Olympics. He enjoyed taking the time to challenge himself by repairing anything and everything. His family was his life and he loved spending time with his granddaughter and his grand-dog, Diesel.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons: Shawn Levesque of Dartmouth and Jacob Levesque and his wife Cassie, granddaughter Savannah Levesque of Dartmouth, his mother’s companion: Edward Camuso, brother: Robert Levesque and his wife Caroline of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and a brother from another mother: Edward Medeiros and his wife Lisa of Seekonk in addition to several nephews and nieces.
His Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. George's Church, 12 Highland Ave., Westport.
