Sue and miss Tony's smile and laugh at dinners in our home and at his country home which Emily graciously hosted. I cherish the picture of Tony and Emily at my 50th birthday party. Tony was a great attorney but an entrepreneur at heart. We miss you Tony.

Emily, Tea and Tom, I will forever remember your Tony - the gracious gentleman that took the time to review my resume and make an introduction that helped launched my career at UNICEF. Here I sit nearly 20 years later and I still remember his kind, encouraging and honest words that pushed me to put one foot in front of the other. Once I landed the job, I had the privilege of working alongside Tony on an annual staff training. Tony would host the training at his offices and he would kick-off the session with his words of wisdom, jokes and appreciation for the staff. Everyone loved to hear Tony speak and they were always floored by his remarkable connection to UNICEF through his mother, the founder of the US Committee for UNICEF. Tony carried on his mother's legacy and made this world a better place for countless children. Thank you, Tony! With much love always!

I was truly saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. I had the great pleasure of working with him at Fulbright & Jaworski for a very brief period of time, while his regular secretary was out on medical leave. There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe this man. He was kind, friendly, soft spoken, approachable, brilliant but unassuming, a true gentleman, the personification of dignity. Many years later at our new offices on 6th Avenue, when he was in semi retirement, he had a small office on our floor. I used to love the rare occasions when we were graced with his presence. Always a smile on his face and a genuine “how are you?” Reminded me of a bygone era, when I actually enjoyed going to work.  My deepest condolences to his family and close friends. 

Rest In Peace sir. Recently found out the road I live on Pantaleon rd in Vermont was named after descendants of Anthony’s. The house still stands at the end of the road.

I was a Secretary twice at Reavis & McGrath, first from 1975 to 1979, returning in 1988 to 1992. I have many good memories of working for various members of the legal staff. One person that I never had the good chance of working for was Mr. Pantaleoni. He always said hello and had one of the brightest smiles I will always remember. Rest in peace, Mr. P, you will always stand out in my memories of working at Reavis.

I first met Tony (Todo to us when we were kids) in Nonquitt in 1955 when a motley crew of we 16 year-olds were commissioned to clean up debris left over on the beach from Hurricane Carol.  We were paid 50 cents an hour.  Being typical teenagers we had no idea how to go about this task.  No designated "boss" and no direction from our elders.  What I remember, and will always remember, is that Todo emerged as the natural leader of this ragtag bunch of 16 year olds.  We kind of lost contact after that, but we ended up as college classmates.  My condolences to Tony's family.  We've last a good guy.

Emily, Tea and Tom,, Sue and I want to send our deepest condlences on Tony's passing. We so enjoyed our dinners together at the farm and at our home. Sue has a great picture of Tony laughing at Suzy wedding that she wants to give you. Please know that we love you Emily and if there is anything we can do to help, just call, we are just down the road.

Tony was the epitome of a gentleman - wise, caring, graceful, while still maintaining a wicked sense of humor.  I have so many memories of our UNICEF time together … from my first interview with him in NYC to nations far and wide.  I learned a great deal about leadership from him and will forever feel blessed to have had him as my friend.  He will be so sorely missed!

Had the privilege of knowing  Anthony Panteleoni through his dedication and work with UNICEF over the years.  An uncommonly kind man, with an abundance of warmth, humor, intellect, and an endless curiosity about the world around him.  Such a honor to know him - I shall cherish all of the qualities he inspired in others.

Norm and I probably did not see Toni and Emily over the years but maybe a dozen times. When ever we were with them we had great laughs fun dinners and Many special memories. Our sympathy goes out to Emily, her children Tea and Tom. And grandchildren Madeline west and (the Kyd)!!! We were fortunate enough to meet Tony’s mother. We will be making a donation to UNICEF and Tony’s name. Love and sympathy to all family members!
