Born in Fall River, son of the late William E. Marland Sr. and Ethel M. (Kelsall) Marland. He was educated in Somerset schools and also attended Hamilton Country Day School in Seekonk. He worked at People Inc. in Fall River and was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.
Surviving: one brother William E. Marland Jr. and his wife ( Joyce ) of Wrentham, MA., several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Mary Williams.
Funeral Sat. May 7, 2011 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN 866 County St. Somerset followed by a funeral mass at 9AM in St. Thomas More Church 386 Luther Ave. Somerset. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Somerset.
