Patricia A. Crossley daughter of the late Mae E. and Everett C. Cowell passed on comfortably surrounded by her loving family December 13, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Patricia had a true love for life and a strong desire to live thou lost her battle due to complications related to diabetes.
She leaves behind her loving and adoring husband of 52 years James H. Crossley Jr. Also her precious kitty Bella who would snuggle up with her in bed every single night.
Patricia also leaves behind her cherished daughter Kathleen Brooks and her life companion Bill, also loving grandson Jeremy Brooks. Her cherished daughter Carolyn who died in infancy, her cherished daughter Karen and her life companion Herbert B. Levesque. Her beautiful, and loving granddaughter Jocelyn, and her life companion Leonard Cowen, and her new beautiful great grandson Logan James. Patricia also leaves behind her son James, and his wife Karen, and granddaughter Mackenzie. She also leaves behind her cherished daughter Kristine, and her husband Robert Marcoux, and her beautiful and loving granddaughter Kylie, and her great granddaughters Savanah, and Aryanna.
Patricia also leaves behind her sister Marilyn, and husband Dave. Sister Cynthia, and husband Bob, brother Gerry, along with several nieces, and nephews, and several close family friends.
Patricia was a graduate of Mount St. Mary High School, and completed her education at Bristol Community College, and Providence College. Patricia worked in the medical field since her teenage years as a medical technologist. Before retiring from the Prime Care Division of health care she held the distinguished positions as a medical technologist, laboratory manager, and assistant administrator. The family of Patricia Crossley would like to give their sincere love, and thanks to her very close, loving, supportive, and dear friends Mary and Manuel Silva, Sharon Wiggins, and Hort and Norman Levesque.
Patricia will be truly and deeply missed. The love she had for her devoted and loving husband, family, and friends cannot be expressed in words. Patricia’s love for life, family, and friends was, and always will be a golden light that touched, and lovingly affected many lives, and will continue to shine in our hearts throughout eternity.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 9am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County St., Somerset followed by her funeral mass at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, 306 South St., Somerset. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm.
