Melissa Beth Davol

Born in Fall River, the daughter of Beth Davol and her husband Peter Sturgeon of New Bedford, she was a graduate of Bristol County Agricultural High School class of 2000. Melissa was a Manager of the KFC in Taunton and enjoyed spending time with her children and family.

In addition to her fiancé, mother and step-father, Melissa was the loving mother of Kenzie Sarah Moniz and Kaide Greggory Moniz. She is also survived by a brother Joshua Souza of Boston and the late Gregory S. Souza; grandparents Richard and Marsha Gauthier of Somerset; nieces and nephews Savannah Souza, Alexia Springer, Aliciana Springer and Jason Camacho; her mother and father in-law Cindy Moniz and Steven Oliveira of Dighton; sister in-law Miranda Oliveira of Dighton; grandfather in-law Antone S. Moniz Jr. of Fall River and several aunts and uncles.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11am in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Rose E. Sullivan 866 County St., Somerset. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4 to 7pm. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Melissa’s grandparents, Richard and Marsha Gauthier at 18 Florida Ave., Somerset, MA 02726.
