Mary E. "Mae" Santoro

Born in Malden, MA, a daughter of the late John and Lavinia (Renaldi) Carbonaro. A graduate of Malden High School, she came to this area in her early life and worked as the Office Manager in the family owned Santoro Manufacturing Company.

She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church, a member of the former Women’s Club, the St. Thomas More Seniors, Royal Travelers, Somerset Village Seniors and the former Merry Makers Club of Holy Rosary Church.

Surviving: one son Attorney Anthony J. Santoro and his wife Pauline of Swansea, one daughter Linda L. Reidy and her husband Joseph of Somerset, one sister Olga Severino of Winchester, MA, six grandchildren: Dr. Joseph Reidy, III and his wife Angela, Attorney Samuel Reidy, Lynne M. Sullivan and her husband Greg, Anthony J. Santoro and his wife Maura, Lauren A. Gentile and her husband Andrew and Anne Erhard and her husband Brian, ten great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 9AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County Street, Somerset followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Avenue, Somerset. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Avenue, Fall River, MA 02720.
