Karen J. Doyle

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Detective Lieutenant James L. Doyle and Olive (Lindo) Doyle, Karen graduated from Somerset High School, Class of 1976. She continued her education at Rhode Island College and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Rhode Island School of Design. Karen owned and operated Brayton Homestead Interiors for close to 30 years and was a former Art Teacher with the Fall River and Somerset Public School Departments.

Karen was a member of the Somerset Historical Society as well as the Democratic Committee, also in Somerset.

She is survived by her son, Doyle E. Campion and his wife Julie of West Warwick, RI; her companion, Rick Shane of Somerset; one brother, Kevin Doyle of FL; two granddaughters, Quinn Aggie Campion and Indie Kate Campion as well as her former husband, Edward Campion. Karen was the sister of the late Colleen Nobrega and Agnes Doyle.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Rose E. Sullivan, 866 County St., Somerset, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 306 South St., Somerset. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
