

Joseph R. Pelletier, age 85 of Somerset, formerly of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 5, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Theresa (Arruda) Pelletier, to whom he had been married for 66 years.
Born in Fall River, the son of the late Ludger and Donalda (Paquette) Pelletier, he was employed for many years as an Engineer at the former Brayton Point power plant in Somerset before retiring and moving to Port St. Lucie where he resided for 20 years.
Mr. Pelletier was an active community member and Past President of the Spanish Lakes community while living in Florida, where he enjoyed golfing, biking, bocce and singing in the chorus. But nothing was more enjoyable than cocktail hour with his bride on the back porch in Florida.
In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by his children, Dennis Pelletier and his wife Cheryl of Cookeville, TN, Robert Pelletier and his wife Dionne of Warren, RI and Cynthia Wetterman and her husband Wayne of Dighton; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pelletier was also the father of the late Michael Pelletier.
