Christopher P. Lavoie

Born in Fall River, a son of Pamela (Miller) Lavoie of Somerset, he spent his youth in Somerset, was a graduate of Somerset High School, Class of 1990 and attended Lyndon State College in Vermont where he volunteered on its’ Rescue Squad. He and his wife moved to Fall River 10 years ago.

An Integration Specialist, Mr. Lavoie worked for ZOLL Medical, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado, for the past 6 years. Prior to that he worked for Alert Ambulance Services as Director of Communications for 17 years.

Chris was an avid sports fan and a volunteer for youth baseball in Lafayette Park, Fall River.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother: 3 sons: William D. Burhoe, Ethan and Jeremy Lavoie, 2 daughters: Madisyn and Abigail Lavoie all of Fall River, brother: Jamie Lavoie of Somerset, sister: Karen Waring and her husband Keith of Fall River and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 9 AM in St. Anne’s Church, So Main St. (Corner So Main and Middle St. ) Fall River. Visiting hours Monday from 4-7 PM the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County St. Somerset. Contributions in his honor may be made to Boston Children’s Hospital Cardiac ICU Unit, 300 Longwood Ave. Boston, MA 02115. Burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
