Cheryl J. Murphy age 60 of Somerset died Tues. July 23, 2013 at her residence.
Born in Fall River, daughter of Mary (Dybowski) Murphy of Somerset and the late Raymond P. Murphy Jr. She was a graduate of Durfee High School and Southeastern Massachusetts University now UMass Dartmouth.
She worked at Stop and Shop in Fall River, Somerset and Falmouth, and was a communicant of St. Thomas More Church.
Cheryl was a “happy go lucky” individual who enjoyed reading, traveling and hiking.
Surviving in addition to her mother Mary Murphy of Somerset, one sister Colleen Murphy – Lockhead and her husband Richard of Quincy and two nieces and one nephew.
Her funeral will take place on Sat. July 27, 2013 at 8AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN 866 County St. Somerset followed by a funeral mass at 9AM in St. Thomas More Church 386 Luther Ave. Somerset. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. Calling hours Fri. 4-7PM.
