Catherine Anne Ouellette

Catherine Anne (Cronan) Ouellette, 52, of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Steven Louis Ouellette with whom she shared 16 years of marriage.

Born in Taunton, the daughter of Mary P. (Carroll) Cronan of Somerset and the late Edward J. Cronan, Jr., she was a lifelong resident of Somerset.

Catherine was a graduate of Somerset High School, class of 1976 and received an Associate’s degree from U-Mass Dartmouth in Criminology and Sociology.

She worked for the Fall River Second District Court as a case specialist for 29 years.

Catherine enjoyed the theatre and traveling to Cape Cod, especially to watch the sunsets. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her loving family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are four brothers, Daniel E. Cronan and his wife Jeannie of Wakefield, RI, Timothy E. Cronan of Somerset, Edward J. Cronan, III of No. Quincy and Michael E. Cronan and his wife Elisa of Royal Palm Beach, FL; father and mother in-law, Louis and Carmelina Ouellette of Swansea; sisters-in-law, Denise Medeiros of Swansea and Susan Jindra of Oceanside, CA; aunt, Louise Sneade of Shrewsbury; several nieces and nephews; and her long haired mini Chihuahua, Patch.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 8am from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County St., Somerset followed by a funeral mass at 9am in St. Patrick’s Church, 306 South St., Somerset. Visiting hours on Thursday 4-7pm. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Somerset.
