Born in Somerset to John C. and Mary (Estrella) Nordeste, Anne was a lifelong Somerset resident until she relocated to Texas to be with her cherished family. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, as she devoutly followed the Catholic teachings. Anne actively participated in St. Patrick's Church in Somerset, lending her voice to the church choir and dedicating herself to the St. Patrick's Women's Guild.
Beyond her spiritual commitments, Anne was a vital member of the Somerset Senior Center, and her enthusiasm for local history shone through her membership with the Somerset Historical Society. She also embraced her Portuguese heritage as a member of the Portuguese Cultural Society of Fall River.
Anne's life was a testament to her strength, generosity, and selflessness. Her love extended to her whole family, and her kindness touched the lives of everyone she encountered, including the family pets, Bruce, Bentley, Ringo and Hobson. Throughout her remarkable 101 years, she exemplified resilience, navigating life's challenges with grace and always extending a helping hand to those in need. Her community felt her warm presence through her numerous acts of service and generous donations.
Anne is survived by her daughter, Kathleen "Kathi" Davis, and Kathi's spouse, Shawn Davis, of Keller, TX. She leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of four granddaughters: Jordan Elizabeth Silva, Victoria Lynn Martinkus, Nichole Louise Davis, and Hannah Marie Davis, along with her grandson, Matthew James Silva, and a great-grandson, Preston James Silva. Her memory will also be cherished by several nieces and nephews. She joins her siblings, Manuel C., John C., Daniel C., Frank C., Alfred C., and Edward C. Nordeste, as well as Mary Vincent, Olive Souza, and Dolores Sousa, in eternal peace.
