Yolanda (Furletti) Filosi, 91, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday at Francis House. She was born in Solvay to Louis and Daria (Paletti) Furletti, immigrants of Tyrolean decent. Yolanda was a member of the Solvay Tyrol Club Auxiliary, Solvay Senior Citizens and communicant of St. Cecilia Church. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1996, her two brothers, Leopold and Mario Furletti, and her sister, Esther (Furletti) Maestri.
She is survived by 2 daughters; Mary Esther Filosi, of Albuquerque, NM and Annemarie (Mark) Dantuono, of Fairmount, 1 son; Richard (Marianne) Filosi, of E. Syracuse, 1 granddaughter; Lindsay Dantuono and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Upstate University Hospital, Hospice and Francis House for their loving and compassionate care provided to Yolanda in her final days.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 am Friday in St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. There are no calling hours. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME has care of arrangements.
