Richard A. Wagner, Sr., 72, of Syracuse, passed away Monday at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. Born in Syracuse, he was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and served over 20 years. He was formerly employed by Crouse Hinds in Syracuse. Richard was predeceased by his parents, Percival and Mildred (Voll) Wagner and a brother, Robert L. Wagner.
He is survived by a sister; Nancy Milazzo, of Baldwinsville, a brother; David E. Wagner, of TX, 2 daughters; Julie Ann and Deanna Wagner, a son; Richard A. Wagner, Jr., and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 9 am in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME. Burial with military honors will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 pm Friday at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
