Mary (Galante) Harmon, 92, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday December 5th at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. She was born in Syracuse to the late Michael and Pasqualina (DelVecchio) Galante. Mary was an assembler at General Motors for many years before retiring. She enjoyed golf, playing cards and as an avid bowler, she was once awarded the “Highest of the Week” trophy with a score of 675. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1967.
She is survived by a brother; Joseph Galante, of Cortland, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday December 11th in St. Cecilia Church, Solvay. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 6 pm Monday December 10th at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY 13209.
