Judy Bombard, 69, of Boynton Beach, Fl. passed away Wednesday at Iroquois Nursing Home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Buffalo, NY. She was a graduate of Lemoyne College where she received her BS Degree in Accounting. She most recently held a position as a Tax Accountant for Office Depot in Boyton Beach, FL. Judy was predeceased by her husband Robert “Bobby” Maestri and 1 brother; Dean MacRae.
Her love for music was always apparent in her house. Her Sunday “sauce” was legendary. She was an avid skier, loved tennis, boating and she could Jitter-bug with the best of them. She adored her “Tennis Girls”, a group of women whose friendship spanned over forty years.
She is survived by her daughter; Robyn Bombard of Manlius, 1 son; Steven Bombard of Florida, 1 grandson; Parker Greenwood of Manlius, 2 brothers; Duncan (Laurie) MacRae of Boston and Daniel (Jane) MacRae of CT, & many nieces, nephews, cousins and inlaws.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:45 am Monday in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in St. Cecilia’s Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are from 1 to 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
