Donald Clare Shoff, of St. Augustine, FL and Camillus, passed away November 22, 2015 at the age of 69. Donald was born in Syracuse, NY July 20, 1946 to the late Francis and Anna (Jocks) Shoff. He was an award winning artist, cook, mechanic, coach, hunter, fisherman, sports enthusiast, father and grandfather. Don served with the US Navy during the Vietnam era. Raised in the Camillus area, he attended West Genesee High School. Each winter Don would head south to his home in St. Augustine to be with his son, two grandsons and their mom.
He is survived by his son; Donald Curtis (Victoria) Shoff, of St. Augustine, FL, 2 grandsons; Riley and Grady Shoff, of St. Augustine, FL, 5 brothers; Ronald F. Shoff, Glenn D. Schoff, Gary G. Shoff, Francis C. Shoff and Robert Neilon, all of Syracuse, sister; Luana Jones, of Syracuse, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 am Saturday May 14, 2016 at St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY. The Rite of Committal will follow in Onondaga County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
