Michael Benson

Michael was born November 17, 1989 in Spooner, WI to Todd and Jody Benson.

Michael graduated from Northwood School in Minong, WI lettering in Football and Basketball. He was very outgoing, full of smiles and had a heart of gold. Michael was a avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared his life are his father Todd (Julie Sears) Benson of Minong, WI, his brother and sisters Sarah and Matthew Benson, Katie (Derek) Denninger, Brandi Ruroden, Riley Sears; one uncle Tom (Julie) Benson; six aunts Sally (Mark) Paitl, Sandra (Dean) Olson, Jill (Mark) Larson, Joy (Jerad) Pierce, Stacey (Chris) Terry, Tracey (Mark) Mooberry; grandmother Janyce Link.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jody Benson, paternal grandparents Roland and Nancy Benson, maternal grandfather Bob Link.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minong, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Minong, WI.
