Timothy Jay “TJ” Howard

Tim graduated from Meadowdale in 1975 where he built his first car, a '37 Chevrolet Master Sedan, in shop class, and received an award for it in the Kingdome.

Tim grew up in Edmonds with his father Dick Howard, stepmom Joan siblings Belinda, Jim and Jeff Kelly and baby sister Nickie. His childhood companion was his brother Jim Howard who left us tragically in 2013. Tim is also survived by Judy, his Dad's true love, many aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces, and his birth mother Janice Fish, of Chelan. His Uncle Jack, who passed with such grace, was deeply loved by Tim.

Tim learned his trade from his father and worked for Dick Howard & Sons Electric. He was the youngest to get his Journeyman card in Washington state. He accepted a traveling job on the East Coast with Sea Galley where he found his family and brought them home.

Tim lived his life to the fullest. He loved with his whole heart and the love of his life was his wife, Cindy.

TJ was proud to be Heather's Jaybo. He raised her as his own and she gave him the gift of boys who came into his world and never left his side. Tim's son-in-law, Zac Thursen, filled him with happiness in his love for Heather.

TJ's Service and Electric was built on his integrity to his customers. It didn't matter if it was a large company or the elderly that loved him and paid with lunch and wonderful conversation.

TJ did everything with his hands, building his dream shop and cabin at Lake Roesiger. With Cindy, it became paradise.

TJ was the kind of guy who treated everyone as a friend. Whether meeting him for the first time or having known him for years, you walked away from each encounter better for having known him.

To Mr. Hagan and Billy Green, he loved you so much.

To the Lake Roesiger Fire Department, thank you for taking care of our TJ. And from the bottom of my heart thank you for letting me hold my love.

To the Lake Roesiger Community, your love and kindness has filled our hearts.
