Sharon Jo Wyman (Benton), 74, of Everett, Washington passed away after a long struggle with various health issues Saturday morning January 2, 2021 at Providence Everett Hospital. She sadly died alone, due to Covid-19 restriction, but her loving husband Ken Wyman kept her family informed as new developments transpired, being in constant communications with the health staff at the hospital.
She grew up in Oroville, Washington and was in the graduating class of 1964. She moved to Ellensburg for college and then to Seattle where she worked at Boeing. She met her husband through mutual friends and was married in September of 1967. A year later they welcomed their first child. They lived in Mountlake Terrace where she stayed at home with their three children. Sharon loved her kids and grandkids more than anything and spent her life supporting them by going to their activities and sporting events. Nothing made her happier than to watch the kids play sports, followed by Seattle Sports team success. She and Ken lived in South Everett for the last 20 years.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ken Wyman of Everett, her son’s Brent Wyman (Georgia) of Edmonds, and Craig Wyman (Kimberly) of Redmond; daughter Dawn Lindsay (Zack) of Monroe; grandchildren Brady, Jordyn, Parker, Hayden, Sydney, Payton & Rowan; her brother Jim Benton (Mary) of Kenmore; and many other family members & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth & Velva Benton of Oroville, Washington.
Due to Covid-19, a Celebration of Life is not planned at this time.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation https://www.cff.org/give-today/
We would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. Sharon will be dearly missed.
