Marjorie Mae Werner, 94, of Snohomish, WA passed away January 1, 2016 in Monroe, WA. Margie was born to parents, Esther and Robert Hawkins, on December 22, 1921 in Havillah, WA. As a young woman, Margie worked as a hairdresser in Lake Stevens and later opened her own shop, Margie’s Beauty Salon in Snohomish, which remained open until 2014. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, husband Roy Werner and brothers Bob, Jack and Bill. Margie is survived by her brother Jim Hawkins of Plain, WA., nephews, nieces and their families who will always carry her loving memory in their hearts. A special thanks to the nursing staff at Regency Nursing Home facility for their compassionate care. A memorial will be held at Bauer Funeral Home, 701 1st.
