Lorraine was born on July 31, 1930 to Jack and Mary Degenstein in Orrin, North Dakota. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Gerald; sons David (Suzanne), Perry, Shanin (Kim), and daughter Becky (Harry) Thimm; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister Marion Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
Lorraine graduated from high school in Harvey, North Dakota and came to the Snohomish area in 1949 where she worked in the restaurant industry. She married John O’Neill and had two children. She later married Jerry Coffman and continued to grow her family. She developed a love of antiques and worked trying to spread her love and education of them throughout her life. She loved to decorate and show off her beautiful home and was renowned for her German potato salad. She loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Her services will be Tuesday, 11:00 July 21st at St. Michael Catholic Church in Snohomish. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Michael Catholic School in Snohomish.
