Ethel May Rhodes, 92, of Snohomish, Washington died December 15, 2013 at Bothell Health Care where she made many friends with residence and staff. Ethel was born on March 21, 1921 in Anacortes, WA. She was employed for many years as an Everett Herald rural paper carrier. Later, she spent many years caring for seniors with the Home Visiting Nurses Association. Ethel was a Golden Age Eagle at Snohomish Eagles. During her retirement, Ethel spent many hours crocheting lap blankets for Hospice and the Veterans Hospital.
Ethel passed with her daughters, Sharon Courounes and Donnella Fairshter at her side. She is also survived by her loving brother and sister in law as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service will be 12:00 PM Friday, December 20th at Bauer Funeral Chapel, Snohomish WA with her grandson-in-law, Vince Grant, officiating. Burial following at GAR Cemetery, Snohomish, WA.
