Beth went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sept. 4th, after a long battle with dementia. Born November 13, 1934, to Amy & Charles H. Beavers in Monroe, WA. She attended Monroe high school and then went on to graduate from SPU and the U of W with a nursing degree. Later Beth earned her Master’s degree. She married Larry Stucker.
Beth spent her life living in the Sultan & Monroe area. Her mission was about serving others. She worked tirelessly as a nurse at Valley General Hospital. She was an active member of her church – playing the piano and teaching Sunday school as well as Child Evangelism. Additionally, she volunteered for the Monroe Historical Society as the president for many years. Beth also had a small farm where she raised cows and horses and maintained several acres of property.
Beth is survived by her children, Valerie Peck and Shawn Stucker, her devoted sister Della (Gerry) Rockhill, sister-in-law Margie Beavers plus numerous nephews and nieces and their families. Beth was preceded in death by her parents, twin sister Barbara (Ed) Senner, brother Charles W. Beavers and former husband Larry Stucker.
Beth will be laid to rest in a private graveside service for the family. A Celebration of Life, open to friends and the community will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association®.
