Barry Scott Walsh

Barry Scott Walsh passed April 7th, 2023, he was 43 years old. He was born July 23rd, 1979 in Everett, Washington to Nancy Jean Walsh & Thomas Edward Walsh. He was proceeded in death by his mother Nancy Jean Walsh in 2021. He is survived by his wife Danielle Walsh, his sons Gage (22), Rider (15), Gavin (9), his younger brother Todd Walsh and his father Thomas Walsh. Barry is best remembered for his love of family and friends and his community involvement in youth sports. Barry grew up in Snohomish and graduated from Snohomish High School in 1997. He loved participating in sports including baseball and football. He was on the golf team in High School and was a Ski Instructor at Stevens Pass. After High School he became a Volunteer Firefighter for the Snohomish Fire District #4. In his early 20’s discovered his of heavy equipment operating and truck. When Barry wasn’t working he was busy spending time with friends in a variety of activities including golf, basketball, softball, ATVs, four wheeling, boating, anything outdoors to have a good time. Barry met his wife, Danielle, in his late 20’s and they were married a few years later on August 13th, 2011. Barry then began his passion & dedication to youth sports with his sons where he coached football & baseball. He served on numerous boards across Snohomish county to support youth sports including President of the Snohomish Panther Junior Football Association and the North Sound Football Board. In his mid thirties Barry started work with The City of Kirkland in order to dedicate more time to his family and youth sports. His love of community and passion for youth sports is evident by how many lives he has touched. He will be dearly missed and always be in our hearts.
