Amanda passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 3, 2023. Mandy was a beautiful soul, an angel on earth and projected love to all she knew.
Mandy touched the lives of so many with her laughter, smile, charisma and unconditional love. She earned her associate degree in the late 90’s at Everett Community College and spent much of her 20’s and 30’s volunteering regularly at the Marysville Library. She lived with her family on the Tulalip Reservation for most of her life.
Mandy enjoyed spending time with her parents, siblings, sister and brother-in-laws, her adored nieces and nephews, her dear Aunt Lisa and Uncle Rob Danner, and close friends including Becca Sigfrinius, Elishia Scott and Stephanie Hayward. She cherished “the Denver Family”, including extended relatives in Colorado and across the US: The Hoelsken’s, Truskol’s, Zvonkovich’s and more.
Mandy was an avid fan of Jane Austen and J.R.R Tolkien, both movies and books. Mandy especially looked forward to her yearly “Lord of the Rings” marathon movie watching events with her brother, Joel. She loved traveling with her family all over the country, art, music, dancing, collecting semi-precious stones and porcelain dolls. She adored "bear hugs."
In Amanda’s later years, she developed a bond and everlasting friendship with her beloved caregiver, Martha, who would sing her Kenyan songs as she would fall to sleep. Thanks to Martha, Amanda was sent to Heaven with songs of an angel.
Mandy was a devout member of the Greek Orthodox faith. She joins her father, Jim, in Heaven and is survived by her mother, Julie, and siblings Joel (Maddie), Michael, Angie (Carlen) and Jamie (Steve), as well as her treasured nieces and nephews: Skyler, Layla, Cameron, Cosette, Austin, Felicity and Gemma. Mandy will be greatly missed as we all loved her so very much.
