William Craig “Bill” Shores of Dacula, Georgia passed away on August 18th, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born June 29th 1936, in Rome, Georgia, to his parents Daisy and William Shores. Bill was a loyal, dedicated and loving husband, dad, grandpa, great grandpa along with a coach and friend.
He will be deeply missed by his wife (of 61 years) Frankie, and his two sons, Craig and Spence (Leigh), four grandchildren Austin, Sydney, Abbey and Zachary, and great grand son Levi.
Bill graduated from Rome High School, enlisted and served in the United States Air Force and later graduated from Shorter College.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23rd 2024, to honor Bill’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter in Bill’s name. He had a deep love for all animals and supporting this cause would be a fitting tribute to his memory.
Bill’s (Dad’s) (Grandpa’s) presence will be greatly missed, but his legacy of love, dedication and compassion will continue to inspire his family members and those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
