Warren J. Thomas, Jr., 83, of Lilburn, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Warren was born on April 14, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a real people person and retired from Appleton Papers in 1990 as a sales representative. Warren later became a substitute teacher for the Gwinnett County School System. He is survived by his most faithful wife of 60 years, Ann, son W. Joe Thomas III and wife Rhonda and their son Warren Thomas IV. Mr. Thomas proudly served in the United States Air Force. As an emeritus member of the Senior Golfers Association of Atlanta, Warren enjoyed the fellowship and variety of Courses they played.He was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, Counsil 7923, Lilburn for whom he served as Lecturer.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Monday, October 29, 2018, at 1:00pm. Inurnment will take place at Georgia National Cemetery at a future date.
