Sue Shumake

Sue Shumake, age 77, of Grayson, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Sue was born in Fries VA to Kelly Anders and Mary Etta Hamm.She married to Jack Harrison Shumake on April 4, 1963 in Elizabeth City NC, and together they had two daughters, Sherry Galvez and Candy Amos.

Later in life, Sue became a licensed Massage Therapist with her own practice until she retired. She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and after retiring she served two missions for her church at the Atlanta Temple.

A visitation for Sue will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at LDS Church, 36 Sims Road, Winder, GA 30680, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM . She will be laid to rest at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, Georgia 30039.
