Stephen Foster Heine-Butler

Stephen Foster Heine-Butler, age 22, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022. Stephen was born February 15, 2000 in Conyers, Georgia to Terri Gaines Butler and David F. Butler. Stephen attended Georgia Southern University where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He was also a Cannon Crewmember in the United States Army. Stephen was a wonderful, respectful, loving person. A gentleman, especially for his mother, Stephen was kind and helpful, he loved fiercely and deeply. A true soldier, the military was his life, but family was everything. Whatever Stephen did, he did it with passion, giving 110%. His family will forever miss his sense of humor and wit.

He is predeceased by his grandfather, Terry Augustus Gaines.

Survivors include his parents, Terri Lynne Gaines Butler, “Dad” David F. Butler; sisters, Sarah Elizabeth Campbell (Brian), Kristina Lynne Craig (Kyle), Rebecca Diane Heine; biological father, Kristopher H. Heine; step-sister, Darlene Candace Evans (Jordan); niece, Kaylee Lynn Craig; nephews, Grayson Asher-Jace Campbell, Levi James Craig; grandparents, the Reverend Jeanette “Mimi” Purvis, Richard D. “Pops” Purvis; uncles, Gary Gaines, Colin Foster Hilton, and Richard “Uncle Gene” Purvis.

A graveside service for Stephen will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039.
