Sean C. Phelan, age 20, of Loganville, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Sean was born on February 11, 2002 in Toms River, NJ and lived in Loganville since he was 4 years old. Sean is survived by his parents Brian and Christine Phelan, four brothers, Ross and his fiancé Jessica, Tyler, Kyle and Timmy. He is also survived by loving cousins, aunts, uncles, many wonderful friends and his beloved pets.
Sean had a work ethic beyond his years. He started working at a local tavern with his oldest brother and immediately distinguished himself as a hard worker at just 15 years old. Since 2019 he worked as a cook at Applebee’s where he developed close friendships that were dear to his heart. He was a recent proud graduate of Foothills Charter High School where he excelled in the welding program. Sean maintained a balance between school, work, family, friendships, riding motorcycles and late night trips to the gym. His passion for motorcycles, his old Chevy truck, dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, and his Mustang didn’t leave him any time to complain or worry about the smallest things in life. He was far too busy loving and living his life to the absolute fullest.
Sean loved all of his brothers, but had a special bond with his younger brother, Timmy. They had an inseparable connection from a very young age, and together, they went to school, worked at Applebee’s, and after work, went to the gym almost every night.
Sean was a kind, loving, inquisitive, funny, passionate young man who in his short life touched and impacted those around him. He always had a smile with huge dimples, was eager to lend a hand and never had anything bad to say about anyone.
Sean’s lasting legacy that he leaves behind is for everyone that knew him to live their life to the fullest with joy, passion and love for their family, friends and pets.
