Robert E. “Bob” Feller, 88, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 24, 2021, with his family at his side. Bob was born on August 31, 1932 in Chicago, IL to Harold and Ann Feller. He proudly served our country in the National Guard. Bob was a man of many talents which translated to many career paths including working on radio transistors for the space program, a sales representative and supervisor for SCM and 3M, owner of Moore McCormick, eventually retiring from AAL Insurance.
Bob served in the church his entire adult life as an elder, and usher, and Bible study leader and encouraged countless people in their faith. Bob was a faithful prayer warrior that loved Jesus and each one of his family. He was very clear about where he was going when he left and that he would see Jesus. Bob was passionate about living life and loving people, he was equally so about going to his forever home in heaven. His other passions in life were snow skiing, classical music, long trips on his motorcycle and spending time with family. Bob was a grand story teller with a remarkable sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He never met a stranger and left impression on everyone he met.
Mr. Feller was preceded by his mother Ann Feller, father Harold Feller, brother Harold Feller, brother Gene Feller, stepdaughter Joy Williams and his first wife Joyce Schulenburg Feller. Survivors include his wife Karline Feller, children Micki Andrews, Dorilee Pervorse (Dan), Michael Hardie, Christi Feller Obstbaum, brothers Charles Feller (Sue) and David Feller (Peggy), 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4655 Webb Bridge Rd., Alpharetta, GA 30005.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to Christ the Shepherd Lutheran Church, cts.org.
